Expressions of Interest: Volunteer Roles at Hockey Central Vic

Hockey Central Vic is looking for volunteers to fill three key roles supporting our association and community. These positions are vital to the growth and quality of hockey in our region — if you're passionate about the game and want to give back, we'd love to hear from you.

HCV Coach Developer
Help shape the next generation of hockey coaches across Hockey Central Vic. In this role you'll support coach education, mentor emerging coaches, and help build pathways that lift coaching standards at every level of the club. If you have coaching experience and enjoy helping others grow, this role offers a chance to leave a lasting mark on the sport in our region.

HCV Umpire Developer
Umpiring is the backbone of a well-run competition, and we're seeking someone to support and grow our umpiring group. This role involves mentoring umpires, supporting accreditation and development pathways, and helping build a strong, confident umpiring community across HCV. Ideal for someone with umpiring experience who wants to give back to the next generation of officials.  This will be a shared role with the existing HCV Umpire Developer - Elaine Hood.

HCV Child Safety Officer
A critical role ensuring Hockey Central Vic remains a safe, welcoming environment for all young players. The Child Safety Officer acts as the key point of contact for child safety matters, supports compliance with relevant policies and standards, and helps embed a culture of safety across the club. This role suits someone with a strong sense of responsibility and a commitment to protecting children in sport.
