Eaglehawk Hockey Club

Eaglehawk hockey club was established in 1967 & will take the field this year for the 59th year.

Founded by Eaglehawk’s own Kaye Trimble, Gayle Worthington & Raye Fleay, the club cater for all ages from as young as 4 years to … the old timers.

Games for all levels are available including a social hit out, the strong competitive type & some members have gone on to represent Victorian hockey.

Known as a family club, Eaglehawk hockey embrace a positive vibe with enthusiastic members, enjoying the social fun, on & off the field.

Come & check it out at the hockey complex on Thursday evenings 5:30-7:30, & be sure to look for the Borough 2 blues!

Maryborough is a friendly, welcoming club, offering a B Grade women’s team in 2026 catering for all ages 12-78+ and all abilities. Our team is formed with players from Maryborough, Kerang, Ballarat and many other regions, coming together in Bendigo to share our passion for hockey. We welcome new and seasoned players to our team this year.

Our club is looking to expand in 2026 and 2027, beginning with the introduction of our new name “Goldfields Phoenix ”. Rising from strong foundations, our new name honours our proud Maryborough roots while embracing a united and exciting future for hockey in the Goldfields region. In 2027, we are looking to offer pathways from Juniors to Senior Men and Senior Women’s teams, creating a more inclusive and family orientated club.

The Sandhurst Dragons are a vibrant, family friendly club. We field teams in all ages and skill levels from our U8s all the way up to Masters.

For 2026 we have entered teams in U8s, U10s, U12s, U14s, U17s, Senior Men, Senior Women and have players playing in the Social Masters program.

We train on Wednesday evenings throughout the winter season. We look forward to welcoming new and returning players into Sandhurst!

Strathdale Hockey Club

The Strathdale Hockey Club has a proud tradition in Bendigo of being a family and socially orientated club, whilst supporting our members in their endeavours in achieving their goals in the sport of field hockey.

At Strathdale we cater for all skill and age levels and we are always excited to welcome new and returning hockey players. We invite potential new and past players, coaches, and volunteers to contact us at any time of the year to get involved.

Season 2026 we are entering teams in all competitons and programs run by HCV.

Team Castlemaine

Team Castlemaine, established in 2025, is a local not-for-profit sports group who support the local community in Castlemaine and regional Victoria, with a focus on promoting sports and inclusivity. Team Castlemaine engaged two local Aboriginal artists to design our uniform to represent our community and connection with the land, air and water.

In the 2026 season, Team Castlemaine will have a Women's B , Men's/Mixed A, Men's/Mixed B, u14's (a joint team with Bendigo Senjuns) and u12's Hockey teams. Hookin2Hockey is also being offered to grow the interest and find the next generation of hockey players in and around the Castlemaine region.
