Working Bee: Grounds Prep for Hockey One – Cobras Match

With Hockey One's Cobras match landing on the pitch on 8 November, we need your help getting the grounds and surrounds match-ready.

When: Saturday 18 October and Saturday 25 October
Where: Bendigo Regional Hockey Centre

What we're doing:
We'll be giving the concrete surrounds a thorough clean — dugouts, the shade-cloth-lined fence edges, and all the pathways around the pitch — removing built-up moss with shovels and dirt with pressure washers. This needs to be a coordinated effort, as it's essential that runoff and debris don't make their way onto the turf.

What to bring:

• Gardening gloves (for hand protection)
• A flat-headed shovel
• A pressure washer, if you have one
• Extension cords and hoses (the more we have, the faster we'll get through it!)

Many hands make light work — every pair helps get the venue looking its best before Hockey One arrives. Come along on either date (or both!) and help us put HCV's best foot forward.
